Story Behind This Painting: Hummingbirds have so much personality and are like little jewels when they flash their feathers in the sunlight. I photographed this hummingbird in my yard near a fountain and an elephant ear plant. I liked the pattern of the large leaves in contrast to the small water droplets spraying from the fountain. The water droplets are also glowing like little jewels, thus the title of the painting.
