Story Behind This Painting: In the summer, I spend a lot of time in my garden photographing the hummingbirds that visit. I decided I wanted to add a hummingbird to this glass still-life. I added the reflections of the hummingbird in several of the glass pieces. It feels like the two birds, the real one and the glass one, are having a conversation or gazing into a crystal ball for answers to some unknown question.
