Story Behind This Painting: These turquoise pots were planted up with beautiful succulents at the Denver Botanic Gardens. When I first saw this scene it was many years before succulents became a houseplant fad. I enjoyed painting the reflections in the blue pots and the contrast of the terracotta pots.
