Story Behind This Painting: This hummingbird was one of a few that visited my garden this year. Hummingbirds fascinate me and I now have plants in my yard that attract them. I love watching them as they chase each other around after claiming the sweet nectar.

Watercolor canvas is a newer surface that watercolors can be painted on. The canvas is then sealed with an archival sealer to protect it and it can be framed or left with a wrapped canvas edge.
