Story Behind This Painting: Along Highway 70 in the Colorado Rocky Mountains there is a car pull off with this river, Grizzly Creek, running next to it. My family and I took a hike along the river one Spring and I took many photos of the full rushing water. This scene was one of my favorites with the new foliage on the trees and the beautiful light catching the water.
