Story Behind This Painting: One year the Denver Botanic Gardens had sculpture of Henry Moore displayed throughout the gardens. In one of the waterlily ponds I saw this image and was intrigued by the graphic reflection of the sculpture around the lilies. I enjoyed recreating the color and texture on the patinated metal.
