Story Behind This Painting: Rushing Water is a painting that started as a demonstration for a workshop I taught on painting water. Then I decided to paint it again as a larger painting because I enjoyed the process and colors in this scene. The colorful water and sparkles really make me feel as if I am in the Colorado mountains listening to the fast rushing water on a bright, sunny day.
