Story Behind This Painting: This scene is from a beach near San Pedro, CA. My daughter and I were enjoying walking along the shore as the sun set. When we reached a bridge, we turned to see the glowing yellow sun in the sky just before it set. The reflection of the sun along the shore caught my eye. The silhouettes of the figures gave life to the scene.
