Story Behind This Painting: This figure was an architectural sculpture on the side of a building in Paris, France. I was teaching a class on pouring watercolor to a few students and chose this image to paint. I love all of the color that was created from pouring just three colors. The light and color on the sculptural figure makes him feel very dramatic and mysterious.
