Story Behind This Painting: Treasure Falls is in Colorado, North of Pagosa Springs. I decided to make the waterfall look soft and frothy in contrast to the realistic, textured rocks. A blue sky, like this one, is very often seen in Colorado and created a vibrant pop against the neutral gray/brown rocks.
