Story Behind This Painting: This painting was a demo for a class I taught on painting glass. The ink well at the front is an antique piece and possibly the green bottle on the right, too. I have started collecting some antique glass pieces with interesting colors and shapes. The light reflections on the surface, the abstract shapes in the glass and the sparkles on the bottles help move the viewers eye around the scene.
