Story Behind This Painting: This watercolor is of my son warming up his baritone with his high school marching band. When I took this photo, I was attracted to the color and images reflected into the horns. I also like the repetition of the hands and bells of the baritones. The fact that my sons eyes are closed just emphasizes the bright light in the scene and his concentration in playing the music.
