Story Behind This Painting: This is a vintage clear glass inkwell. I was photographing some of my glass pieces for a still life in front of a window and saw the color and light on the inkwell. The contrast of the warm fall colors and cooler lime greens attracted me and I took several photos. The light coming in from the window makes the bottle glow. Do you see the reversed bushes and sky in the top of the bottle?
