Story Behind This Painting: As a band parent, I was helping the marching band during a parade. While they were waiting to take their place in the parade, the tuba section set their horns down on the street. I was fascinated by the reflections of the the band students, blue sky, and surrounding houses that make this scene both abstract and realistic.
